Fall Orchestra and Wind Ensemble

SCU's Orchestra & Wind Ensemble join together in a performance of classic and contemporary pieces, filling Mission Santa Clara with exhilarating sounds.

This concert features pieces that run the gamut of the human experience - the childlike wonder of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, the raw power of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, and the gentle simplicity of the anime masterpiece, My Neighbor Totoro. Rounding out the program are odes to the place we call home, pieces like Roger Zare’s interstellar Mare Tranquillitatis and Stella Sung’s environmental call to arms, Oceana.
